# Terms of Service

## 1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the swap.cc Discord bot and related website ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
The Service is independently operated and is not affiliated with Discord Inc., CryptoJar, or any cryptocurrency issuer.

## 2. Description of the Service
swap.cc is an automated cryptocurrency swap facilitator operating within Discord using CryptoJar infrastructure.
The Service:
* Detects deposits via webhook notifications
* Calculates a conversion rate at processing time
* Applies a fee
* Sends a return tip through CryptoJar
The Service does not hold private keys and does not custody user funds outside of CryptoJar.

## 3. No Custody of Funds
All transactions are processed through CryptoJar.
The operator:
* Does not control private keys
* Does not directly hold user wallets
* Cannot reverse completed CryptoJar transactions
All transactions are considered final once processed.

## 4. Beta & Experimental Software
The Service may operate in beta or experimental mode.
You acknowledge that:
* Software bugs may exist
* Swaps may fail or require manual correction
* Delays or pricing discrepancies may occur
Use of the Service is at your own risk.

## 5. Pricing & Volatility
Cryptocurrency prices are volatile.
* Rates are calculated at the time the swap is processed.
* Market fluctuations may affect final output.
* Minor discrepancies may occur due to rounding or slippage.
The Service does not guarantee fixed exchange rates.

## 6. Fees
Fees are automatically deducted before output is sent.
The operator may modify fees, supported tokens, or swap availability at any time without prior notice.

## 7. Manual Review & Right to Refuse
All swaps are subject to final review by the operator.
The operator reserves the right to:
* Delay processing
* Reject suspicious transactions
* Refuse output if abuse is suspected
* Disable tokens or swap pairs
Automation does not remove operator oversight.

## 8. Abuse & Exploit Prevention
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
* Exploiting software bugs
* Attempting duplicate or double payouts
* Manipulating webhook events
* Using alternate accounts to bypass limits
* Artificially triggering swap logic
If abuse is detected, the operator may:
* Refuse processing
* Blacklist users
* Report accounts to Discord or CryptoJar
* Publicly disclose exploit attempts
Determination of abuse is at the sole discretion of the operator.

## 9. Donations
Voluntary donations made to support the Service are non-refundable.
Donations:
* Do not grant ownership, equity, or profit-sharing rights
* Do not guarantee service availability
* Are used at the operator's discretion for operational costs, hosting, development, maintenance, and related expenses
Donations do not constitute an investment.

## 10. Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is."
There is no guarantee of:
* Uptime
* Continuous availability
* Error-free operation
The operator may pause, modify, or discontinue the Service at any time.

## 11. No Financial or Legal Advice
The Service does not provide:
* Investment advice
* Tax advice
* Financial advice
* Legal advice
You are solely responsible for compliance with your local laws.

## 12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for:
* Loss of funds
* Market volatility
* Smart contract failures
* CryptoJar outages
* Discord outages
* Network congestion
* Third-party service failures
* Exploit attempts by third parties
* Indirect or consequential damages
Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the total fees paid by the user to the Service in the previous 30 days.
Use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.

## 13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or legal expenses arising from:
* Your misuse of the Service
* Your violation of these Terms
* Any unlawful use of the Service

## 14. Suspension & Termination
The operator may:
* Suspend any account
* Block any user ID
* Terminate the Service
* Remove tokens
At any time and without prior notice.

## 15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Any disputes arising from use of the Service shall be subject to the applicable courts in Ontario.
